Santa & Cole Nagoya Pendant Lamp was designed in 1961 by Ferran Freixa Jov. This lamp was designed in a very simple and artistic manner. The overall look of the lamp does not look very elegant but it does exactly the thing for which it was designed by Ferran Freixa Jov. There are few vertical strips attached to a circular structure which forms a very different type of lamp. This was the first lamp to get the Golden Delta ADI-FAD award for the best industrial design made in Spain.
Santa & Cole Nagoya Pendant Lamp uses a very special type of wood. This poplar tree grows on the river banks and it produces a knot-free and soft white wood. This wood is abundantly used in this lamp. Neat and straight strips of this wood are used. This wood is selected due to its extreme flexibility and whiteness. This wood is fixed to the circular metal structural rod, this creates an oriental-style lamp.
Santa & Cole Nagoya Pendant Lamp does include a light source of an LED bulb of power 12W with an E27 bulb socket. This lamp comes with a cable length of 3m and the whole lamp weighs around 1.1kg. The junction box is suitable for the CE market, UL market and IP20 certified.
