Softly rounded instead of sleek angular

At first glance, the AJ Royal pendant lamp, with its softly rounded design, is somewhat atypical compared to the other lamps in the AJ collection. But when you look at the overall concept of the interior for which Arne Jacobsen designed this collection, the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, this lamp completely falls into line. The whole interior is a remarkable combination of angular clean shapes and gently rounded designs, which wonderfully blend together into a gorgeous overall look.

The AJ Royal pendant lamp has a very basic and classic dome shape to provide sufficient and efficient downward light, making it ideal for above a dining table, worktop or counter. What especially characterises this lamp are the ribs with openings at the top that provide soft and atmospheric light upwards.

The AJ Royal pendant lamp is available in 3 sizes, in black or white, always with a white interior. The new energy-saving LED version features a diffuser, which provides pleasant, 100% glare-free light. This pendant lamp is dimmable, for the 2700K version this is possible phase cut (normal dimming) and DALI dimmer, for the one with colour temperature 3000K this is only possible via DALI.
