The movement of waves

This version of the LX Turntable and speaker is a reinterpretation by artist SupaKitch. Echoing his work on water waves, he has added liquid-looking reliefs in full-grain leather to the tabletop. In which he also simultaneously refers to the undulation of sound. Moreover, this full-grain leather is bull leather of exceptional quality from the Remy Carriat tannery in the Basque Country.

The LX Turntable and speaker SupaKitch has the height (76cm) and model of a small desk and is a beautiful and durable piece of furniture for your interior. Like the leather, the solid wood and plywood is made locally by furniture makers in the Spanish Basque Country. Finally, the speaker is assembled in their own workshop in Ustaritz French Basque Country.

The LX turntable and speaker features the latest Wide Sound 3.0 technology, developed by La Boite concept’s R&D lab. This turntable spreads an enveloping and stable sound and is also equipped with bluetooth to have the same effect for music from your smartphone or when you pair it with your CD player via the optical TOS link input.

For this hi-fi system, they developed an optimised version of the TWZ tweeter from 40 years ago with exceptionally efficient results. Both smooth and precise by improving the directional sensitivity thanks to a new spreading arch combined with 2 convex soundboards. These acoustic panels ensure that sound is reflected from the rear, ensuring quality listening at high frequencies, distance from the speaker and high rooms.
