Futurism & fantasy!
The Frisbi pendant lamp highlights Achille Castiglioni’s ability to amaze by combining fantasy with function. The name is reminiscent of the familiar toy, but once you get a look at the lamp, you see the futuristic vision with which this pendant lamp was designed in 1978. The 3 fine steel cables, from which the opal acrylic diffuser hangs, are barely visible, which makes it seem as if it floats under the chrome lampshade.
The Frisbi pendant lamp is an intelligently designed lamp with three types of lighting: diffuse, through the opal diffuser at the bottom, direct through the opening in the diffuser and reflected by the shiny exterior of the lampshade and the socket with mesh structure.
