Each rug is hand-made using the nomadic style wool warp and wept foundation of high-quality Armenian wool. The Kazak designs hail from the western region of Armenia. The collection offers rugs in various sizes, each featuring vibrant colors and bold, archetypal designs. Each rug is one-of-a-kind and made outside of Yerevan, Armenia.
A wool Armenian Kazak weave rug with a Three Medallion design, this rug is among the most distinctive Armenian carpet designs, incorporating deeply meaningful symbols into the bright and energetic palettes. Borachalu III-F Ruby features large, overstated, repeating medallions which make use of latch hooks. The hooks represent health, happiness and protection from the malice and evil eye, anything bad approaching is caught by the hooks. Borachalu III-F Ruby is hand knotted of 100% Armenian wool in colors of brick red, beige, midnight blue, cobalt, and wheat. This rug has a pile height around a third of an inch.
