A one-of-a-kind piece, this Persian gabbeh was hand knotted using unbleached Persian wool. The unbleached wool absorbs vegetable dyes differently based on the original color of the wool, which allows for an organically changing tone across a single color. The center of the carpet has a stylized tree of life, a symbol of the path from Earth to heaven. This piece measures 3’3″ x 4’8″.
